ComfortHyde is our special formula tannage that makes this leather feel as soft, supple and luxurious as more expensive deerskin leather. ComfortHyde leather is less costly than deerskin, yet offers over 70% better wear performance over deerskin. Wear performance is defined as abrasion resistance to friction, the chief reason leather wears out.
